There is a non-refundable fee of £50.00 for this. Please make sure you choose the ‘Entry exam – £50.00′ option at checkout and await the outcome of your interview before you book your place on the course. If you book the course but fail the entry exam, you may not be eligible for a refund.
Interviews will be held remotely via Zoom on Saturday 29th March 2025. Other dates may be arranged upon request.
Completing BSL Level 3 requires time and commitment and gives you a level of fluency that allows you to use it for work. It is aimed at learners who are in regular contact with the Deaf community and other signers through Deaf Clubs and social meet ups, work or volunteering. The course also requires a high level of independent study – homework will be given each session and learners are expected to complete around 2 – 2.5 hours of home study every week. Please ensure you are able to commit to this before enrolling in the course, and that you are available to attend all or most of the course dates.
Weekly attendance is vital in order for you to ensure you are practising with the group and learning as much as you possibly can. Please note: a record of your attendance will be kept and poor attendance could impact whether or not you pass the course successfully. If you fail to attend 80% of the course or more, you may not be eligible to sit your exams.
