In order for you to enrol in Level 3, we may request to see proof of your attainment of a Level 2 Certificate, or details of prior learning. Please contact us if you are unsure of your appropriate level or have any questions about this.

The Level 3 Certificate in British Sign Language (BSL) meets the learning needs of those who already have competence in BSL at Level 2 and are interested in developing their skills and knowledge.

Successful learners must be able to demonstrate competence at Level 3 of the UK Occupational Language Standards. This means that the learner will be able to understand and use varied BSL in a range of work and social situations.  The learner will develop an advanced knowledge of the structure and function of British Sign Language and an understanding of the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture.

Candidates must demonstrate both receptive and productive BSL skills at level 3, and in all of the six topics that make up this qualification.

Please note that all our courses require regular attendance as well as independent study time and completion of homework.

The cost of the course including exam fees and certificate is £990.00.

If you opt out of taking the exams, the cost without exam fees is £828.00. You can always decide to take and pay for the exams later.
